Job Vacancy: Freelance Video Captioner (Proofreading)

Requirements:
- Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Bahasa Melayu and Islamic terms is an advantage.
- No prior experience required – we welcome individuals with a strong grasp of language and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize our AI captioning tools to generate initial video captions. (90+% accurate)
- Proofread and edit captions for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.
- Edit captions directly in the provided text files or through our online video editor tool.
- Ensure synchronization between captions and video content.
Working Conditions:
- Freelance position with flexible working hours.
- Each video assignment will be 2-3 hours in duration.
- Each video is expected to be completed within 1-2 day.
- Work remotely using your own equipment.
We encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply. While knowledge of Bahasa Melayu and Islamic terms is an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement. We will provide supporting documents for reference to assist freelancers in their captioning tasks.
**We will provide an AI Captioning Video Editor tool similar to this. The AI will auto-generate the initial caption. Once the initial caption is ready, the captioner needs to proofread and revise the caption.
For example, in this screenshot, the captioner needs to correct the word Shari > Shariah. Just delete the word on screen and type the correct word.
We will train you how to use the tool. It is a simple and easy-to-use tool, you don’t need any specific skills to do this.
