ModernLMS recently joined the Malaysia HR Tech & Innovation Conference & Expo 2026, held on 22–23 September. Throughout the two-day event, participants explored how technology and human-centred strategies are shaping the future of work. In addition, the event brought together more than 2,000 HR leaders, business decision-makers, technology innovators, and industry professionals.
Meanwhile, SHRM and PERKESO joined the event as strategic partners, alongside a broad ecosystem of sponsors, exhibitors, HR technology providers, and industry organisations.
ModernLMS Joins the Malaysia HR Tech 2026 Community
As part of the exhibition, ModernLMS joined a diverse lineup of technology and workforce solution providers, with exhibitors including organisations such as LinkedIn, TalentCorp, and many other companies showcasing solutions across HR, learning, workforce management, employee experience, and business technology.
For ModernLMS, the event marked the first public exhibition of EntraDesk. As a result, the team had an opportunity to bring the platform directly to the HR technology community and demonstrate how it can support organisations beyond traditional learning management.
As the flagship product of ModernLMS, EntraDesk brings learning, training, performance, workforce management, and AI-powered capabilities together within one integrated platform.
Introducing EntraDesk: More Than a Traditional LMS
At the event, visitors were able to explore EntraDesk through live demonstrations and product showcases covering different aspects of the platform.
Rather than focusing on a single learning function, EntraDesk is designed as a connected platform that brings together multiple capabilities to support the employee journey — from learning and training to performance, compliance, knowledge, and workforce management.
EntraDesk Features
Among the capabilities showcased were:
- Learning Management — Centralise and manage organisational learning activities.
- Training Management — Plan, schedule, and track training programmes.
- AI Course & Content Builder — Transform existing materials into interactive digital learning content.
- Agentic AI — Support knowledge retrieval, task assistance, and workflow automation.
- Performance Management — Set goals, monitor progress, and support employee development.
- Compliance & Certification — Track competencies, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge Hub — Centralise organisational knowledge and make information easier to access.
- Workflow Builder — Create customised workflows and approval processes.
- Employee Records & HRMS — Connect employee information with learning and workforce activities.
- Multi-Tenancy & Enterprise Readiness — Support multiple organisations and business environments within one platform.
Together, these capabilities demonstrate EntraDesk’s approach to connecting the different elements of workforce development rather than treating learning as an isolated function.
Celebrating Innovation Across the HR Technology Community
In addition, the conference featured the HR Tech & Innovation Awards 2026, recognising organisations and professionals that are using technology to create meaningful improvements in workplace and workforce outcomes. The awards included categories such as HR Tech Organisation of the Year, HR Tech Leader of the Year, Best Use of AI in HR, and Early-Career HR Tech Professional of the Year.
Among the recognised organisations, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad received the HR Tech Organisation of the Year award. Meanwhile, an individual recognition was also presented for an Early Tech HR Professional. Together, these recognitions highlighted the growing role of technology in transforming learning, development, and human capital management.
More broadly, the achievements celebrated at the event reflect the broader direction of the HR technology industry. Today, technology is increasingly being used not simply to automate processes, but to create more connected, adaptable, and people-focused organisations.
Looking Ahead With EntraDesk
For ModernLMS, Malaysia HR Tech 2026 marked an important step in bringing EntraDesk to a wider audience. Through the event, the team had an opportunity to showcase the platform publicly, connect with HR and technology professionals, and demonstrate how an integrated approach to learning and workforce development can support organisations as their needs continue to evolve.
